Terms of Service
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SlugHosting ("we", "us"). By creating an account, ordering or using our services you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and SLA.
1. Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and take responsibility for the account.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions by people you give access to.
3. The services
We provide Minecraft game server hosting with the resources listed on each plan (such as RAM, CPU, storage, backups, databases and network allocations). Plan specifications may change over time, but we will not reduce the resources of an active paid plan during its billing period.
4. Billing and renewals
- Services are prepaid for the billing period you choose.
- Invoices are due by the date shown. Overdue services may be suspended, and data may be deleted after the grace period stated on your invoice.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Taxes or payment processor fees may apply.
- You can cancel at any time from your client area or by opening a ticket. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period, except as stated in the Refund Policy.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes opened without first contacting us may result in suspension.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or remove services that break it, put other customers or our network at risk, or are used for illegal activity.
6. Your content and backups
You own the worlds, files and data you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service. Backup tools are provided for your convenience, but you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important. We cannot guarantee that data will never be lost.
7. DDoS protection
We use network-level protection to reduce the impact of attacks. It is provided on a best-effort basis and cannot guarantee that every attack will be stopped. We may temporarily restrict a service that is being attacked to protect our network.
8. Minecraft and third parties
SlugHosting is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. You are responsible for following the Minecraft EULA and Commercial Usage Guidelines, and for the licences of any plugins, mods or software you install.
9. Support
Support is provided through tickets and Discord. Support covers the hosting service and panel. We do not provide help writing or debugging custom plugins, mods or code unless stated otherwise.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your services if you break these Terms, do not pay, or if we are required to by law. You may stop using the services at any time. When a service is terminated, your data may be deleted.
11. Disclaimers
The services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error free, apart from the commitments in our SLA.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or loss of players or community. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover claims and costs that arise from your content or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Important changes will be announced by email, Discord or on this page. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where SlugHosting is established, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that country, unless local consumer law says otherwise.
