Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains what personal data SlugHosting collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it to what we need to run the service.

1. Data we collect

2. How we use it

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

Only with providers we need to run the service: payment processors, datacenter and infrastructure providers, network and security providers, and email delivery services. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our users and network.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and keep the site secure. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this page.

5. Retention

We keep account and billing records while your account is active and as long as needed for legal, tax and fraud-prevention purposes. Server data is deleted after a service is cancelled or terminated, following the grace period stated on your invoice.

6. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and hashed passwords to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

7. International transfers

Our servers and providers may be in different countries from you. By using the service you understand that your data may be processed outside your country.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain uses. Depending on where you live (for example the EEA or UK), you may have additional rights under local law. Contact support@slughosting.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions: support@slughosting.com
